Training

We offer a diverse range of in-person and online workshops and trainings for staff, students, and volunteers at nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and government agencies worldwide.  Sample topics have included:

Program Development and Evaluation

We design new volunteer engagement, internship, and service-learning program tools, resources, and models as well as evaluate and provide recommendations for improvement of existing programs and practices.  Past projects have included:

  • Assessing the volunteer program of a small urban farm and education nonprofit
  • Designing service-learning curriculum and training staff for international service entities
  • Determining effective social media strategies for a grassroots animal rescue group
  • Developing a replicable internship model for a countywide library system
  • Evaluating the national volunteer program for a global conservation organization
  • Providing recommendations for improved board development and composition for a small animal shelter
